Starring Tanmay Dhanania, Trimala Adhikari and Satarupa Das, Q’s ‘Garbage’ saw its World Premiere at the Berlinale – Berlin International Film Festival, 2018, and its US Premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival, 2018. It is now lined up for its Asian Premiere at the Bucheon International Film Festival, South Korea, and a screening at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
Escaping Brown is a collaboration between spoken word poet Anirudh Eka, and musician Kc Vlaine. Eka, has been active in the North Carolina and New York poetry scenes over the last ten years, and his powerful verses are reinforced by Kc’s riffs as he follows Eka’s dynamics.
Every human has the potential to improvise music. A natural human impulse, in which, we tap into our own limitless supply of original music. The source of music is found within oneself, thus opening the door to a lifetime of creative fulfillment and artistic expression.
Sanjay Joseph started young and, after paying his dues in various musical situations (including stints with various rock/ jazz bands, artist luminaries like Ranjit Barot, Louis Banks, KK and A R Rahman, he conceived Shibumi – a composite expression that straddles the worlds of music, nutrition, spirituality, discipline and abandonment.
He will play works by Luis de Narvaez, Gasper Sanz, Fernando Sor, Isaac Albéniz, Francisco Tárrega, Emilio Pujol and others. There will be program note for the audience.
